China has overtaken the United States as the world's largest iPhone market in Q2, according to research by TechInsights. China accounted for 24% of all iPhone shipments, while the US market accounted for 21%. The strong sales in China can be attributed to its thriving economy, growing middle class, and consumers' preference for high-end smartphones. The iPhone 14 Pro Max was the most sought-after smartphone worldwide in the first half of the year, with 26.5 million units shipped. The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be the best-selling model this year.
